In a professional career spanning 30+ years, Ajay has held roles of increasing responsibility in the Human Resource domain across multiple industries ranging from logistics, FMCG, BFSI, Retail and Industrial in Indian companies and American & Euro-Japanese multinationals. He has been instrumental in areas of strategy formulation, business and cultural integration; functional transformation, goal alignment, supply chain transformation, etc. He has served in regional (Asia Pacific) and global role in Atlanta, USA.

Prior to his association with Growthsqapes, Ajay was associated with Hitachi Rail as the Sr. Director HR and responsible for Asia Pacific region. Earlier, he was associated with Honeywell Inc. as the Global HR Leader for Security business based out of Atlanta. In his journey with Honeywell India spanning over a decade, he was the CHRO for Honeywell India and responsible for Leadership Development, Succession planning, Supply chain transformation, Mergers & Acquisitions and organization culture. Apart from working with ICICI Prudential, Cargill India, PepsiCo India, and TCI / Gati group of companies as a Human Resource professional, he has also served as a Director on the Board of ED&S India Ltd. and was a special invitee to the Nominations and Remuneration Committee of Honeywell Automation India Ltd. (BSE: HAIL)

Qualifications and Certifications

Ajay holds a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management from Jiwaji University, Gwalior. He is Six Sigma Black belt certified by Honeywell Inc., a certified OD Practitioner from Indian Society for Applied Behavioral Sciences and is a Certified Coach.

Additionally, he is certified as a co-assessor for Assessment Centers, 360 Degree Coach and trained on User Experience methodologies.

Areas of Expertise

Ajay leverages his rich industry and domain experience and concepts from behavioural science to design competency frameworks, organization design, functional transformations, culture transformation, succession planning and the like. Additionally, he works in the area of leadership development, employee engagement, talent transformation and leadership Coaching.
